American Viewpoint congratulates Leah Vukmir, who won the GOP U.S. Senate primary nomination in Wisconsin. While Leah was outspent by a wide margin her unwavering commitment to a strong ground game propelled her to victory.
American Viewpoint polling and focus groups helped to guide messaging and define key target groups that campaign manager Jess Ward implemented in designing Leah’s path to victory. “Leah’s commitment to hard work, staying on message and inspiring her team was pivotal to success, said pollster, Linda DiVall. “Leah is a strong messenger who connected with voters which was integral to the success of the ground game.”
American Viewpoint was proud to work with Team Leah and Jamestown Partners Jon Kohan and Barney Keller, who played instrumental roles as general consultant and media consultant.
While Leah was behind in our polling, we never saw her deficit to be the 18 point deficit claimed by her opponent. Leah zoomed to a lead with those aware of both candidates and was tied with high propensity voters. With limited resources the campaign remained unwavering in supporting a ground game that paid off with her +24 point margin in the Milwaukee ADI and a strong focus in the WOW counties, defined early on in polling as a key geographical target for Leah.
Focus group testing showed the power of Leah telling her story of fighting for reform with Governor Scott Walker was instrumental in defining her as an effective and consistent conservative.
American Viewpoint looks forward to being a strategic partner for Team Leah in the general election.
