Lead Survey Data Specialist

In order to achieve this, candidates will have knowledge and interest in Republican politics, campaigns and elections, public policy and/or survey research.
DESCRIPTION
This position will be responsible leading the effort to:
Manage all operations on the data side of our business which entails leading and directing the programming team using the statistical software package Uncle.
Responsibly lead the effort to:
design and edit data tables
proof tables for number and grammatical inaccuracies
proof surveys prior to fielding
run quality checks
weighting data
run data tables
The primary contact for all members of the programming and data teams
Various other project-related tasks
EDUCATION
Required candidate qualifications consist of at least a bachelor’s degree in political science, statistics, business/marketing, computer science or a related field.
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
At least 3 years of experience using Uncle software OR at least 5 years of experience using another statistical software package (SPSS, r, etc.) where writing syntax is required

Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically: Excel)
General computer knowledge
Effectively work in a team environment
PRIORITY QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with multiple statistical software packages (in addition to the requirement above)
Knowledge of SQL
5+ years working in a related field such as market research, survey research, political campaigns and/or statistics
